It's all good and well to have famous celebrity crushes, after all, if they weren't famous they wouldn't really be celebrity crushes would they? But being as elitist as I am, there is a slight taint to heavyhitters like Tina and Olivia and Evangeline. So it's nice when I come across a minor celebrity just as likable and beautiful as these other actresses. Today's shoutout comes from Doctor Who, since that's my show of the moment.
She stars in the episode Blink, which was one of my favorites so far. For one, she's in it. For two, it was more X-Filesy than the typical episode, which was a nice change. (I'm liking the show quite a bit by the way.)

It seems that she's always cute.

Little did you know (maybe) that Carey Mulligan has been dubbed one of the breakout stars of the year. She's in a movie coming out sometime this fall. Not that I haven't crossed paths with her before (Pride & Prejudice, Bleak House, The Seagull, etc).
I really heart David Tennant as the Doctor!!
Curse you Hollywood! Why must you absorb all I enjoy? At least that means I should be seeing more of her.
I'm a couple months behind EW, so for all I know she's all over everybody's radar.
Eccleston was a serviceable Doctor, but I kept thinking he was going to turn into a zombie (ala 28 Days Later.) Tennant is The Doctor for me. Pity I started watching the show after he'd announced his retirement.
Is your island now officially filled to capacity? How sad, I thought the spot for your wife was very romantic.
Well, if you consider sharing your hubby with the other 9 women of his dreams I guess.
Carey hasn't officially made the cut, she's just auditioning. She probably reads my blog so I'm expecting a call any day now so she can apply for the 10th spot/wife position.
